Sarah and I biked along the bike paths of Long Beach. I think I could bike all the way down to Long Beach along the bike paths. There are bike paths that go all the way to the end of Huntington Beach. That will be an epic ride. Plus, there would be a minimal amount of dealings with cars.
Long Beach is very nice, especially around the marina.

Yes, it was pretty nice riding around there. I think I can ride 80+ miles from where I live down there and beyond and back just on bike paths.
