Go Korea!

Korea scores! They tie up the game with France, 1-1.

We had Korean barbeque to celebrate Father's Day, Dong Hyuk's (Sarah's brother) birthday, and Korea's great World Cup game.

Krazy Koreans cheered like mad during the game. France led early on with their first goal. Koreans started getting pretty nervous since France was such a strong team. They had great offense and defense. Somehow we backed them off until Korea finally got a chance to score a goal towards the end. The crowd went wild as we tied up the game, 1-1. It was awesome being there and cheering with other people. The emotions ran pretty high. 

Here I am wearing red in support of our team. I guess we're the Red Devils. That's ironic since so many Koreans are christians. 

This past Sunday, June 18, 2006 at 12:00 pm, Sarah and I went to the Staples Center to watch the Korea vs. France World Cup soccer game with all the other krazy Koreans. It was pretty packed with L.A. Koreans cheering for our motherland, Hanguk (Korea).

Mark and Hadi having a blast. I wish everyone were here to revel in the friendship and comaraderie last night. Everyone seemed to bond closer together at our parties.

The party was totally happenin'. For those of you who didn't come out, you missed out big time. There were plenty of drinks, delicious buffalo wings, and other awesome appetizers. Everyone was all smiles and laughing it up. I tried not to overdo it with the beverages this time.

Happy Hour. 2 1/2 hours of happiness. 5:30 to 8:00 pm; went into overtime.
