Caught in the Act

I came home and what did I find? I saw Sarah playing computer games on our new computer. She's the one who kept telling me not to play any videogames because of how bad they are. She says that I get addicted to them. Well, I caught her playing those computer puzzle games that we downloaded from the internet. I guess it's okay for her to play puzzle games but I can't play Xbox games. That's totally unfair.

I also found out that she was watching Korean videos again, because she left the VCR on. She kept telling me that she had so much stuff to do and study. Tsk tsk tsk.

Maybe my laziness is rubbing off on her.

Last night, as I was coming home from work, I heard on the radio that there was an accident on the 60 freeway before the 605. I tried to avoid it by trying to take the 57 North from the 60 East. I drive by this everyday so I should know better. Unfortunately, I forgot my glasses at home. I'm blind as a bat without my glasses. I can see cars fine but I can't read any signs. For those of you who know that part of the freeway, there is no 57 North from the 60. 57 North ends at the 60. Instead I took the 57 South. I didn't realize what I was doing because I couldn't read any signs. I was in Fullerton by the time I realized I had to go back. I blame my increasing blindness to work. I stare at the computer screen for about 12 hours a day. Plus, since I'm just sitting all day and not exercising, my stomach is like a camel's hump. No wonder why all these middle aged people have so many problems. I must do something about this before I start falling apart. I thought I was going to be like Jack Lalane and be a fit old man, but I'm scared that I might not even make it to old age at this point. My body is quickly falling apart after only a couple years of work. I must retire soon for my health.

Beaten Again!

Sarah and I finally got our SBC DSL modem on Friday. We first decided to upload the photos we've received from friends who attended our wedding. We have the pictures taken at the studio too, but that will take time because we have to scan each picture before we upload them. We'll send you the pictures through our Yahoo photo album.

On Saturday, we went over to my parents' place to wash our cars and do our laundry. While we were waiting for our clothes to come out of the dryer, we played some videogames. Sarah killed me in Tetris Worlds on my Xbox. I can't believe Sarah beat me in videogames too! That's my area of specialty. Well, they were puzzle videogames. Sarah excels in puzzle games. I know I can beat her in other types of videogames. I beat her in Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. She put up a good fight in that game though. It was pretty close. She lost to me in other types of videogames because she forfeited by refusing to play any violent games. Ah ha! That means I win!

After eating dinner at my parents' place, we rushed home so that she could study. Instead, we played some more videogames. She spanked me on those Yahoo internet games like Bejeweled 2 and Super Collapse and other puzzle games. Even though she beat me on all those games, I had a fun time playing videogames with Sarah. I've always wanted a videogame partner. It's a lot more fun than playing videogames by myself. Now, if only I can get her to play my type of Xbox games. . . That will be awesome!

I think that I'm a bad influence on her studies. I remember she used to study a lot before we got married. Now, I see her studying for five minutes and taking one hour breaks watching Korean videos. This used to be how I studied when I was in law school. I've noticed she's been snacking a lot too recently.

On Sunday, after church, we went to Sarah's company Christmas party for Sav-On. It was at CBS Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown. It's next to Philippe's Original French-Dip Sandwiches. While we were waiting there, I bumped into Michael Hong from a previous law office I used to work at, Law Offices of Jeff Mann. You never know who you might run into. It's a small world after all. I surprised him by telling him that I got married and introduced him to Sarah.

At the Sav-On Christmas party dinner, I pigged out as always. I was so full that I didn't have to eat the next morning. Sarah stuffed herself too. I need to avoid places that have lots of food, such as buffets, because I don't think I can control myself when it comes to food. I'm like goldfish. They'll eat until they explode if you keep feeding them. Even Michael Hong and Paul Lee were patting my belly saying that that is a married man's stomach. I'm officially a fatso.

Dancing Fool

Sometimes, when I'm bored, I like to dance in front of Sarah while she's studying. As some of you who went to my wedding have seen, I'm not a good dancer, but I sure do like to dance like a maniac.

Sometimes, I like to (pretend to) stripdance in front of her. I guess I should just let her study, but it's fun.

Check Mate

I was playing chess with Sarah last night. Even though I was teaching her how to play, she caught on pretty quickly. She beat me. She is now 2-0. I'm 0-2. She's much more smarter than I am. I am dumber than her. Duh. Well, I'm not a good chess player anyway. I'm just learning how to play myself. It takes me like 5 minutes to make a move, while she makes a move instantly. She kept pressuring me by counting down, "10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2. . ." I had to move and then I made a bad move. One bad move and then the whole game starts to fall apart. She was killing my guys left and right. Although I have to say that sometimes, I did coach her on what moves to make. In the end game, my king was just moving around to avoid her 2 rooks which were chasing me. . .until her pawns became queened. Then, it was all over. This happened all because of one mistake and her constant pressures to make me make a move. I should have just resigned earlier.

One time we were playing checkers and she was winning too. Then, I pretended to throw a fit and overturned the board.

She was beating me in chinese checkers as well. I just left one of my pieces there so that she could not win. Ha ha! I figured out a way to prevent her from winning by leaving a piece there. This is a good way to prevent her from taking over the board if I can see that she's winning.

She may beat me at board games, but I rule when it comes to videogames.

Valley of the Dirt People

I remember listening to Kevin and Bean on KROQ 106.7 FM during the summer and how they were making fun of the "909", which is Riverside County. I drive through there everyday. The area code for Riverside County changed to (951) recently because the County did not like the negative connotation of the 909 area code which was constantly made fun of by Kevin and Bean. Those guys kept saying how the 909 was the "Valley of the Dirt People" and made other derogatory comments. The County decided to change the area code as soon as possible. This was the quickest change in an area code ever as noted by the public utilities commission which handles telephone area code changes. I thought that was hilarious. Even if they change the area code, the place is going to be the same. Now, only San Bernardino County retains the 909 area code. This sort of thinking almost reaffirms the redneck image of Riverside County. I'm not saying Riverside County is all that bad. It's the fastest growing county in the United States. I guess, it's because there's no other place to develop. Los Angeles is getting way too crowded. Right now, driving through there is okay because it's winter. During summer, there are some stretches where the putrid stench makes me sick to my stomach. Next to the 60 freeway in Ontario and 15 freeway just below the 60 freeway, there are farms that seem to be raising toxic animals. The most vile and disgusting smells emanate from those farms. I have to drive as fast as possible to get away from that area of puke-inducing stench. I drive through this everyday on my way to work in the Valley of the Dirt People.

Turn down the heater

I've deleted by e-cards section, site-ring, and daily cartoon section in hopes of getting rid of pop-ups. Now, I don't get as many on this site. Sometimes, those ads still pop-up though. Use a pop-up blocker to get rid of them. I might add them again later if you want them back. I'm always looking for new and cool things to add so let me know.

Anyway, how come girls are always so cold? I'm always hot. Sarah is constantly saying how cold she is. She bundles up and puts two thick blankets over her. The heater is set to over 80 degrees and I'm sweating like a pig. It's not going to be my fault if we have to wash the blankets more often because of the temperature thing.

I'm still mourning the loss of Pepper. She was the nicest dog in the world. She passed away shortly before our wedding. She lived at my parents' place. Everytime I visit my parents now, I feel a tremendous loss when Pepper is not there to say hi to me. She used to always greet me when I came home. She always wanted to sleep on the same bed as me when I lived at home. She hated other dogs, but loved people. She really understood human emotions. When either my sister, Christine, or I was sad, she would put up her paws on us to console us and let us know it was alright. Now, she is in Doggy Heaven. I wish she stayed with us longer to keep my parents company.

I wish I could do other things during my 1 1/2 hour drive to work. I wish I could watch tv or something. After driving 150 miles every day, I've learned how to keep myself occupied during my 3 hours of driving everyday. I exercise using those grips and I squeeze them100 times per hand. I eat my breakfast while driving. I listen to Jaime and Danny on Star 98.7 and Kevin and Bean on KROQ 106.7. Those guys are hilarious sometimes. I listen to songs on the radio, but I'm usually just changing the channel the whole time because sometimes they play all the songs I don't like on every station. I usually just end up listening to commercials. I'm tired of all the CD's I have, which is currently like 6. I sold all my CD's that I didn't want to listen to anymore. I've listened to them so many times, that I don't want to hear them again. Well, not for a long while. I used to have XM Satellite Radio, but I didn't want to keep paying $10 per month. I need to save all my money to help pay for my several thousand dollar gasoline bill. I got a Honda Accord V-6, the same one as Chris Choi's. He's going to think I'm copying him. I wish the speed limiter wasn't set on 130 mph though. I'm pretty sure it can go over 140 mph. Even at 130 mph, I wish I could go faster. The Accord is a lot faster than my Mustang, which I loved peeling out in, but my lust for speed just can't be quenched. Why don't people driving in the fast lane move over to let faster cars go by? Slower traffic is supposed to move to the right. Sometimes, I want to get the fastest car I can get my butt in. Other times, I think I should get the slowest car there is to prevent me from going to jail. I wish I could get better mileage too. Sometimes, I have to get gas everyday because of my commute. I want a car with Viper performance, but with Prius gas mileage.

Decorating our apartment

We had some wedding invitations left over from the wedding. I decided to decorate our apartment by putting wedding invitations on top of each table and desk we had. Sarah wanted me to throw them away, but I wanted to keep them. I would have put our wedding programs on everything to if we still had them. We put a lot of effort into them and I wanted to enjoy them a little longer. I put one on top of the tv too.

Korean Tea Ceremony. This was at our wedding reception. I got this picture from Brian Dowdy's website, dowdyb.com. I need to get more pictures. The only pictures I can upload are the ones on the internet or through email. I'm getting SBC DSL soon, so I'll have some new pictures up soon. Posted by Hello

Kindergarten Law

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6653824/site/newsweek/

The above link refers to a Newsweek article posted by MSN.com on Monday, December 6, 2004 regarding the birth of Jesus. I found it pretty interesting because it discusses faith vs. reason and history. It discusses how a lot of people believe in Jesus despite the absence of historical evidence, contradictions in the Bible, and logical reasoning. I guess belief is stronger than reasoning. Anyway, I thought it was something to think about and research in more depth.

I also want to apologize for these dang popups. Please use a pop-up blocker to block the annoying ads. I am going to start deleting some of these "free" programs I've got for my website. Apparently it's a free method of advertising for them. You might start seeing some of your favorite programs on my site dissappear as I discover which one is the true culprit. I hate ads as much as you do. Therefore, at the expense of our beloved programs, I am going to try to make this website pop-up free. Blame those dang bravenet things.

I was watching a re-run of the Simpsons' yesterday where Homer decided to open up his own day care center after watching over the Flanders' kids one day. (Sarah was studying in the bedroom while I was vegging out in the living room.) I thought it might be something I might be interested in doing. I want something that is fun and stress free. Well, maybe taking care of kids has its own share of stresses. I thought I might like it since I love kids. I really enjoy teaching 2nd grade Sunday School at church. Maybe I'll try that later after I see how this law gig works out. I'm pretty sure I'll take better care of the kids than Homer Simpson though. ("Why you little...! Doh!")

XXXbox weekend

I can't wait until the weekend. Hopefully, I can figure out what's wrong with my XXXbox. Sarah has to work again on Friday night and Saturday.

My XXXbox is still for sale by the way. Even though I love videogames, I think I'm addicted to them. The best way for me to get over it is if it's not around me. My ad is in my Classifieds section down below. You can post your own ads on my Classifieds section for free. Isn't that awesome?! Tell your friends.

Married life is pretty tiring. It's hard to wake up in the morning. We have four alarm clocks. Sarah just sleeps through them. I wake up and turn each one off as they go on. I go back to bed. Then, we sleep for half an hour more.

I also wake up about 4 times in the middle of the night to go pee. I haven't had decent 8 hours of sleep in ages.

I remember one bad dream I had last week. It was like a haunted mansion mystery movie. There were all these people at the mansion. I guess they were trying to solve a mystery or get an inheritance or something. There was this beautiful, but vain, blonde woman. Then there was this big crash or explosion. When she got up, the bottom half of her face was horribly disfigured. It looked like there were only bits and strands of bloody muscles hanging from her face. She was a complete monster. I guess she saw her own reflection and she started yelling, "Someone, please get me a doctor!" People were so frightened by her appearance, instead of calling an ambulance, they started pounding away on her with anything around them, hoping to kill her. She was just too scary. They couldn't let her live. Who would want to live with that kind of face anyway?

I had a another scary dream awhile back. In that dream everywhere I looked a scary demonic spirit slowly started approaching me. When I turned away, another one appeared and would start slowly coming after me. I closed my eyes and this evil spirit started floating towards me. I had to open my eyes and then it would just start over again. I think I was in this post-apocalyptic mall with towering pillars and a ceiling as high as the sky. I could see that other people saw me, but they couldn't see the demons. They could see that I was extremely frightened. I was going insane because no matter where I turned demons kept coming after me. I was basically turning away and running forever. I was going so crazy but I couldn't die. It just went on forever. When I woke up, my body was all in a weird twisted position.

Albert Siu, Esq. and me at my wedding. Posted by Hello
